When Lena got married to Finn in Ireland last August, she made a conscious decision that she DIDN'T want her wedding shoes to be a feature of her outfit, so she chose a soft ivory satin that blended beautifully with her bespoke ivory silk gown.

However, many brides nowadays rather like the idea of a splash of colour peeping out from underneath their billowing skirts of tulle and lace. And particularly if you are lucky enough to wear one of Candy Anthony's heavenly, fifties-style creations (like the one above and two below), then why wouldn't you? You can see from these brides quite how much fun they are having on their wedding days and I've got to say, I think that coloured wedding shoes really do add that sense of giddy excitement to the whole proceedings!Colourful Wedding shoes
